Stavanger Cathedral School is an upper secondary school in the city of Stavanger, Rogaland county, Norway.

Stavanger Cathedral School, known colloquially only as Kongsgård, is an upper secondary school in the city of Stavanger, Rogaland county, Norway. The main building of Stavanger Cathedral School is amongst the city of Stavanger's most characteristic buildings. Together with Oslo Cathedral School, Stavanger Cathedral School has been known for being one of the few elite schools in Norway, with high academic performance and also a vibrant student community. The students at Stavanger Cathedral school have also been known for being very politically active, and it has been said that it is a "red" school because of the left side politics that have been especially popular at the school. The school also has a growing international help project called International Solidarity, that does fund raising for Palestinian refugee camps in Beirut and Bethlehem.

The school's motto is the Latin phrase Per ardua ad astra, which means "Through Struggle to the Stars"[2].
